I want to travel with my fiance to the Bahama’s this Jan-Feb, who has the best pricing?

I want to find the cheapest way to go. Flight, reservations, etc. Obviously I don′t want to stay in a crappy place, or bad part of the island, but i have heard of people getting awesome rates! What websites do I go to? Or what airline? Is there a cruise that is super cheap for two people??? What island is cheaper?

Bahamas cruises are super CHEAP! expecially with Carnival and Royal Carribean, check their websites. Their cruises rang from 2-5 days and the costs are around 195-350 bucks. I went on a cruise to the bahamas in august of this yesterday for 315. I also went last year. The price includes everything you can eat on board, they have like 3 restuarants and a 24 hour pizzeria or ice cream parlor(depending on the ship and cruise liner). They have casinos, bars and clubs on the cruises, and pools , jacuzzis and all that. Its diffetely worth the price and more. I would recommend getting a 5 day cruise so you at least hit up 2 islands . You dont have to worry about paying for a hotel, cause you sleep on the boat, or food. all you pay for is alcoholic beverages and anything you buy on the islands. The cheap cruises are usually from mon-thurs, i think they a just alittle bit more expensive for the weekend ones.
PS. If you decided to take a cruise, Fly to Florida, they are usually the cheapest flights. and They have the most cruises to the carribiean. Also, I would not buy my flight from them, they usually charge double the price of a flight, if you got it on your own.
I usually use Priceline.com…its a package with airflight and hotel.
If I were you, I would go to cancun and stay at a all inclusive hotel where all the food and drinks are free all day everyday so all you have to do is pay for hotel and flight which you can get on priceline and have some extra cash for activities and not worry bout spending money on food and stuff.

Having worked in the travel industry for more than 20 years i can tell you that you should do some research online and work with a reputable travel agent. You have more than enough time to make the right decision. There are many lovely places to visit in the Bahamas – over 700 islands, so you have to decide how much activity you want – the type of hotel, etc. Start by visiting http://www.bahamas.com to explore what you want to do.
And FYI, Cruising to the Bahamas does not get you a full feeling for the islands. It allows you to enjoy your cruise and visit some islands for a few hours.
