You can get a board meant for ldp (long distance pushing) and/or original trucks (which, to my understanding, nudge the board into carves more easily) and/or small wheels (which have lower top speeds but accelerate faster).
Put a board together with all of those elements and you probably won’t have to push much at all.

can ya pump certain long boards on flats without pushing or do u always need hills? cos im a surfer n not all that keen on having to push lol
yes, i want great sliding, but i want it to grip through hard carving, just not at that high of speeds. i was wondering if the 86’s are worth it , or the 83’s for however much more grip they have. 86 durians on a cerviche?

you have to have a different set up, cos you going fast you dont need to turn sharp so have extra tight trucks, getting low helps too but i would say tighter trucks, biggerwheels longer board?
it depends on what kind of longboarding you want to get into. if you want to do stuff like in this video than go to their website and get a board from them or get a loaded dervish or vanguard
